Go Team Canada go! Tickets for the TORONTO 2015 Pan American/Parapan Am Games will be on sale beginning March 23 at 1:00 p.m. EST.

The TORONTO 2015 Pan American Games are scheduled to take place July 10–26, and the Parapan Am Games will take place from August 7-15. Both are gearing up to be the largest Pan Am/Parapan Games yet.

The ticket program for the games was designed to be affordable and accessible for everyone. Offering affordable pricing ranging from $20-35 for adults, with a youth (under 16) and senior (65+) discount from $10-12.50, depending on the event. The tickets will also be integrated with public transit allowing ticket holders to access transportation on the day of the event.

The Parapan Am Games will be in its fifth edition featuring more than 1,600 athletes from 28 countries competing in 15 sports. For the first time, all sports will be qualifying events for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

Team Canada dominates many of the sports being contested this summer, like wheelchair basketball, which the Canadian women’s team won in the 2014 World Championship in Toronto. The Canadian men’s team won gold at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. During the 2011 Parapan Am Games in Guadalajara, Team Canada came second overall in the medal count for track cycling with three gold and one silver medal.

Among those participating, swimming star Benoît Huot can’t wait for the chance to compete at home against rivals from around the world.

“I have travelled the world to compete against the best athletes striving to hear O Canada,” said Huot, a 19-time Paralympic medalist. “But I get goose bumps just thinking about doing that at home in Toronto this summer feeding off the energy of the crowd.”
