New to this year is Tommy Cudmore, a resident artist of the Living Arts Centre. “Glass is the most mentally and physically exerting material available,” says Cudmore. “The intensity of working with molten glass allows me to escape my outer world and recluse into my internal creativity.”
Arts on the Credit has grown exponentially throughout the years; 2015 marks its fourth year. Over time artists from around Mississauga have been added to the list, including those from outside the borders like Nicole Kagan who highlights the richness and complexity of dualism in her collage work. Toronto, Dundas, Hamilton, Oakville and Burlington are all represented as well.
At the end of Arts on the Credit, there will be a draw for an heirloom 14/20 gold necklace and earring set, by Jan Krutzelmann, a prize valued at $500.
