Mississauga resident Jean-Jacques Turgeon always says “yes” to Encore and it’s a lucky thing he does because he’s the latest big winner to claim $1 million in the September 29, 2012 Lottario draw.
“I was stunned!” smiled the 55-year-old husband and father of one while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his prize.
Jean was running errands when he decided to stop into a nearby lottery retailer to check his tickets on the self-checker.
“I saw the prize amount flash on the screen but I didn’t realize how much I had actually won until the ‘BIG FREEZE’ happened!” he laughed.
Jean, retired, has played the lottery for many years and this is his biggest win to date.
