The report proposed to the Province of Ontario includes a budget for a $16 billion plan to increase transportation projects and public transit. The proposed report allots the majority of its funds to a regional transit plan, including Bus Rapid Transit along Dundas connecting Toronto to Halton Region and a Hurontario-Main Light Rail Transit (LRT) connecting downtown Brampton to Mississauga’s Port Credit GO station.

The proposed financial plan expects to relieve congestion over the span of the 25-year project.
