Mississauga arts patrons pay their respects
with donations and applause at the ARTBEATS Gala.

MISSISSAUGA ARTBEATS GALA
Supporters of the arts community revelled at the Mississauga Arts Council’s ARTBEATS Gala and Reception held on October 14, 2011. The event featured international cuisine and a unique live and silent auction spotlighting original artworks donated by local artists, South Asian fashions and items from various businesses.
The audience was serenaded by the stellar voice of Canadian tenor Michael Ciufo, the rhythm and beats of the award-winning CanAfric Theatre and the sizzling performance by opera-pop group Naria. All proceeds raised at ARTBEATS will benefit the community at large as MAC continues to raise funds to support Mississauga’s growing arts community.
