Canadian Cannabis Clinics (CCC) will be opening a second free medical marijuana clinic on Lakeshore Boulevard West in Etobicoke on April 6.

The clinic is a part of a continuous effort to build more locations in Canada that specialize in marijuana treatment for different issues ranging from back pain to anxiety. The clinic will serve West Toronto, Etobicoke, Brampton, Oakville and Mississauga and will allow Canadians to choose marijuana as a treatment option by obtaining prescriptions and choosing from a number of different strains housed at the clinic.

The company sees Etobicoke as one of the most underserved markets, and plans on opening at least 10 more free clinics across Canada this year.

“Despite the introduction of the Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulations last year, access to medical cannabis has been out of reach for most Canadians,” says Ronan Levy, CCC’s co-founder and director. “With this clinic and future locations, we hope to make medical marijuana treatment and education more accessible to patients seeking the treatment they need.”
