“The magazine’s tag line is “Spirit of the City”. President/CEO Don McVie and Editor/Publisher Mike Douglas began their quest for a communications vehicle that “connected” people in January of 2011. Eleven issues later they have realized success. They have developed a dialogue with the community, built a strong following, created the magic that only print can do. Articles are engaging to a large demographic, varied topics, stories from community members and exciting design have stimulated conversation, connected all of us to our sense of place – to the spirit of the City. The team has brought together a creative dedicated dynamic staff that cares personally about the magazine and its impact on its readers. Mississauga Life Magazine has supported in a very public sense the preservation of our community and social heritage.
