MississaugaLife’s first online auction for charity offered $500 in gift cards from Dixie Outlet Mall.
Here Nicole Meriano presents the gift cards to surprise winner Councillor Ron Starr, who gives the cheque for his winning bid to Chris Hatch, Executive Director of The Mississauga Food Bank. Councillor Starr intends to offer the gift cards to families enduring hard times, and as Nicole put it, “Dixie is always looking for ways to get involved in the community and the Councillor’s donation to the Food Bank coupled with providing gift cards to more needy recipients makes us very happy.”
